Flexible dentures are routinely used to patients with great esthetic concerns. Also, there are advocated as an alternative treatment option for those with general medical problems and have limitations in receiving and(or) agreeing to surgical treatment, including implantation. Flexible dentures can also be suggested to patients whose abutment teeth show poor prognosis, or when the patient comes with financial limitations. Having strengths of its own however; flexible dentures have its shortcoming and limits, and should therefore not be used to patients without incisive case selection nor thorough explanation. Flexible denture also call for regular check ups and thus demands the compliance of the patients receiving treatment.
